SSL4EO: Self-Supervised Learning for Earth Observation

Course Overview

• Discuss challenges and opportunities for SSL tailored for Earth observation data.

Who Should Attend?

• PhD students in computer science, remote sensing, geospatial sciences, or related fields.
• Researchers and practitioners interested in leveraging self-supervised learning for Earth observation tasks.

Course Requirements

• Knowledge of basic Deep Learning concepts (e.g., supervised learning).
• Experience with Pytorch (highly recommended).

Registration Fee: The course registration fee in 1600 DKK. (This covers coffee breaks, social activities, and two group dinners.)

Credit points: PhD students will be able to earn 2.5 ECTS for the course which is registered at the University of Copenhagen.
